2016 Highlights

  • Leia Lautzenheiser wins Roanoke's Labor of Love 8K in 31:12
  • Brevard High School (NC) ranked #1 (girls) and #2 (boys) in 2A rankings as of 9/6/16
  • Aaron Saft (left) places second at Canadian Death Race 125K on July 30. Earlier in the year he placed 7th at the 50-mile USATF Championships in New York and won the Green River Games trail half marathon in record time

  • Noah Graham (Brevard, NC) qualifies for Nationals with 4:17 mile, wins three 2A state titles (3200m [indoors], 1600m and 3200m [outdoors]), and earns All-State in two others [1600m indoors; 800m outdoors]

  • Philip Latter named Western North Carolina girls' coach of the year (2015 Cross Country); signs contract to publish second book.

  • Brenae Edwards and Macy Latter place 2nd and 3rd at Oskar Blues 4-miler in PRs

  • Eliza Witherspoon (Brevard, NC) runs PR of 5:19 in 1600, comes back and takes 3rd in 3200m at NC 2A state championships indoors and outdoors

  • Syndicate gets international flair with first athlete from India
